We are not a mortgage lender or broker but a Network of Real Estate Finance Consumer Advocates whose members are dedicated to protecting consumers from predatory business practices. All members are required to complete the Residential Finance Specialist (RFS) designation seminar called "Real Finance: A Consumer Advocate Approach to Real Estate & Mortgages".
Our Role
Our role is to be an advocate for the consumer. This includes:
- Interviewing affiliates to participate in the system
- Holding affiliates accountable for delivering what they promise & closing on time
- Educating RFS Consultants on consumer advocacy, predatory lending,
mortgage fraud and residential & commercial financing
- Providing consumers with knowledge & tools they need to make educated decisions
